OUR STORY
STUDIO TASH is a design studio founded by Margarita Rangelova and Marta Moskova - a duo brought together during their studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. With backgrounds rooted in metalwork, ceramics, glass and textile, their practice blends material sensitivity with experimental expression. Inspired by nature’s systems, forms, and textures, STUDIO TASH explores how objects can evoke emotion, invite interaction, and tell stories beyond their functional purpose.
OUR MISSION
STUDIO TASH is brought together by the drive to push the boundaries of traditional craft and design. We are constantly exploring innovative techniques and approaches with the materials we choose to engage with. Through a methodology rooted in experimentation and an intuitive approach to design, we remain open to unexpected ideas and unconventional solutions. The abundance and diversity of nature - its systems, phenomena, and processes - serve as a central starting point for our creative process and a constant source of inspiration.
We are committed to creating high-quality, well-engineered, and fully functional products that are a pleasure to use. Significant time is devoted to problem-solving and prototyping, ensuring each form serves its purpose perfectly and every product performs flawlessly.
Sustainability is at the heart of our practice. We minimize material waste, repurpose and recycle wherever possible, and donate a portion of our profits to organizations dedicated to preserving Bulgaria’s natural heritage.
Our work exists at the intersection of art and design. We aim to preserve the unique character and soul of sculptural objects while combining them with the functional and utilitarian qualities of product design.
Currently, we are investigating the symbiosis between digital technologies and traditional handicrafts.
By moving seamlessly between digital and physical processes, we explore how the two can complement each other and elevate our design practice.
